Fully automatic control of the SNCR system
STEAG Energy Services (SES) was commissioned to control the existing SNCR system using the IT solution PiT Navigator SNCR. The aim was to meet the statutory daily and half-hour limit values of NOx and NH3 and to reduce the cost of the reducing agent consumption.
Services by SES: use of the existing SNCR system; connection to the control system for reading and writing signals; implementation of the complete control incl. pre-control of the reducing agent flow based on a NOx-prognosis; automatic selective control of all SNCR lances.
Benefits: reliable compliance with the limit values; reduction of reducing agent cost; fully automatic control of the SNCR system without manual intervention.
